Partnership for Southern Equity's

Youth Engagement Initiative

What is K.T.S.E?

At PSE, we understand that great movements must involve youth leadership and input. This partnership hopes to ensure PSE’s engagement with colleges and universities across the state as well as communities of young people doing meaningful work off-campus. We want to listen to young leaders so that they can inform us of the work we do and connect them to others who are doing great work across the American South. Our organization wishes to continue galvanizing young leaders; educating and engaging them in conversations about equity in a non-extractive and genuinely collaborative manner.

The Keep That Same Energy (KTSE) Youth Initiative invites young people to learn, engage and lead a call to action for racial equity for all. This initiative seeks to inspire and train leaders who will create opportunities in which all people can thrive in regenerative and equitable communities. By engaging in community and campus youth initiatives and programming, the KTSE Youth Initiative will build a network of leaders for equity. PSE aspires to create a space in which future organizers, fellows, and ambassadors can be activated as the collective voice for young people and equity in the south.
